Oladipupo Adesina

Biography

Oladipupo Adesina was born in Lagos State, Nigeria in 1974. He graduated with a National Diploma (General Art) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in painting in 2013 from Lagos State Polytechnic and won the overall best student in Art and Industrial Design in the same year.

Oladipupo is a member of Society of Nigerian Artist (SNA). He has participated in several group exhibitions locally and internationally and his works can be seen in galleries like Nike Art Gallery, Mydrim Art Gallery, Terra Culture, Signature Art Gallery and Private Homes. He is presently a full time studio artist, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Artist Statement

As a multidisciplinary artist, I make use of different mediums to express and communicate my world of art. Recently, my artworks portray the epitome of beauty in women especially African women. I use different materials like nylon, plastic bottle covers, fabrics, drink-cans, oil and acrylic colours. Women are pretty and they are really epitome of beauty.
